Bobbie is walking through the park, still seething with anger, humiliation and the bitter knowledge that she bought and paid for Tony's betrayal. If only, she keeps thinking. If only there hadn't been Damian. Or any of the lies she'd told in the past. She wipes a tear away, and realizes that her life has been little more than a series of self indulgent moves she's foolishly blamed on her Spencer genes rather than take responsibility for her own choices.

What was it? She wonders, that made her....no, there was no outside source to blame, as she'd made her own decisions about life and now was having to live with them.

"Face it," She tells herself. "You did what you wanted to do, and blamed everybody but the person responsible. Time and time again, you keep doing this to yourself. Why?? What is it that makes me...no, why do I make the choices that I make???"

As she ponders these things, the night air is suddenly rent by a horrific scream. "NO!" Bobbie hears, and freezes momentarily, wondering what to do.

Then, her anger still burning towards herself, and life in general, she runs toward the source of the scream, stunned to see the a body on the ground, and nobody else around. As she quickly approaches, she sees that it is Carly, and for a split second, feels a surge of satisfaction which she squelches as quickly as it rises.

"Carly?" she says, kneeling beside her, and checking for the problem. "Oh god," Bobbie whispers, as her hands come away covered with blood. "Carly? Oh, hon, hold on, I'm getting help."

With a bloodstained hand, Bobbie reaches into her purse, and taking her cellular phone, calls 911 while applying pressure with the other hand. Giving brief instructions, she finishes with, "Page Dr. Tony Jones at GH. Tell him that it's Carly Roberts."

Bobbie drops her phone, and turns back to the young woman who lies bleeding on the ground. "Carly, help is coming. Tony will be here. Hold on."

A whimper of pain escapes Carly's lips, and she opens pain-filled eyes to see Bobbie holding her, doing what she can to help. "Momma?" Carly whispers, brokenly, realizing that her life is slipping away, and that she had this last few moments to... "Momma...love you....sorry...Tell Tony...loved him forever....don't tell him about us."

"Save your strength," Bobbie whispers softly, trying to comfort the girl. "Help is coming. Hear the sirens? You'll be okay."

"Not," Carly manages..."Carly. Caroline Benson...Your Caroline....Momma..."

And then, it's over, and Bobbie is reeling from Carly's last words.

Tears running down her cheeks, Bobbie sits rocking her dead daughter in her arms for the first and last time ever....Hmmmmmmm

Bobbie is sobbing when the emergency crew arrives with Tony leading the way. He is running ahead of the group, fear and pain evident on his face.

"Carly?" he cries, and as he sees Bobbie's face, he falls to his knees beside her, crying "No!!!"

Pulling her from Bobbie's arms, he takes Carly's body into his arms, and holds her, tears running down his cheeks as he unashamedly weeps.

"I'm so sorry," Bobbie tries to tell him, her own emotions warring within her. "She said to tell you that she loved you forever."

And then, their eyes meet, and there are no words to express their pain. "She called...for her mother," Bobbie sobs, as Garcia arrives on the scene....... Hmmmm

Mac Scorpio is fighting his way past reporters, trying to get into General Hospital, where he plans to meet with Bobbie and Tony.

"Commissioner Scorpio," comes one voice as he is recognized and besieged by the news gatherers. Lights flash, microphones are thrust into his face, and the questions begin.

"Was this murder committed by the same person who stabbed Gina Williams?"

"Is the suspect Kevin Collins?"

"Isn't Dr. Kevin Collins the IDENTICAL TWIN BROTHER OF RYAN CHAMBERLAIN?"

"Aren't you Dr. Collins' best friend?"

"Is it true that the victim is a blonde, too?"

"Did Dr. Collins know both women?"

"Didn't both women work at General Hospital?"

"Is it true that one of the nurses at General Hospital had a violent argument with the victim?"

"Is it true that the same nurse was found with the victim and covered with the victim's blood?"

"Is it true that the victim was having an affair with the wealthy husband of that nurse?"

Mac closes the door behind him, shutting out the clamoring voices of the reporters. His harried expression says it all as Tom Hardy approaches, and the door is pushed open as Tom asks,

"Damnit Mac! How many will bodies will it take before you do something?" Hmmmmmm

Stay tuned!! Who killed Carly?? Will this be more than Tony can take??? Can Bobbie keep the heartbreaking secret that she's just learned?? Will Bobbie be accused of the murder?? Is Mac wishing that he'd never taken this job??? Hmmmmmmmmm
